Peregrine
After completely disappearing from Lake Superior by the 1970s, the peregrine (whose latin name means pilgrim or wanderer) returned to the cliffs and shores of the big lake after reintroduced by conservancy programs. A spectacular flyer whose 200 mph dives make it the fastest creature on earth, and no favorite among the other birds it takes home for dinner.
On matte coated poster stock. 10 x 19 inches.
